Warranty Provision and Fault Liability Judgment of the Battery
Release time£º2016-09-12 Source £ºVOLTEC POWER

(I) If the usage of the battery does not exceed warranty period (calculated from the date of purchasing), the following fault of the battery should be within the scope of warranty.
1. Internal welding of the battery is broken: due to rack of fusion inside the battery, breakage may be caused by heavy load discharge or vibration in use. Phenomenon: electric eye turning green indicates insufficient voltage, or that current cannot be supplied during charging or current pointer fluctuates.
2. Lead components break: breakage not caused by external force in use but for the reason of quality of the material. Phenomenon: electric eye turning green indicates insufficient voltage, or that current cannot be supplied during charging or current pointer fluctuates; heavy load discharge produces a large amount of gas.
3. Cold solder of poles: internal vertical pole breaks away from external lead circle welding position. Phenomenon: electric eye turning green indicates insufficient voltage, or that current cannot be supplied during charging or current pointer fluctuates; heavy load discharge causes heating of the poles.
4. Counter electrode falls off: counter electrode ear falls off from the bus-bar joint position. Phenomenon: electric eye turns green, indicating that voltage can meet the requirement after being charged, but capacity is insufficient, and continuous starting performance degrades.
5. Counter electrode breaks: counter electrode ear or frame breaks. Phenomenon: electric eye turns green, indicating that capacity is insufficient and continuous starting performance degrades; and a large amount of gas will be produced by heavy load discharge.
6. Septum issue: in case that septum is half packaged or damaged, internal short-circuit will be caused. Phenomenon: electric eye turns green, indicating that terminal voltage is insufficient after charging, and a large amount of gas will be produced by heavy load discharge.
7. Unqualified heat-seal: heat-seal of cover and groove of the battery is not firm. Phenomenon: leakage will be caused on parts of cover and groove when the tractor runs or battery discharges.
8. Electrode poles are assembled oppositely: some set or entire battery is not assembled according to the specified poles. Phenomenon: terminal voltage of set I of opposite electrode poles is only 8V, set II of opposite electrode poles is only 4V, and the entire battery is negative value.
(II) In case that the lifetime ends earlier due to improper maintenance of the user, or use of battery exceeds the warranty period (calculated from the date of purchase) etc., it will not be within the scope of warranty and no claim can be allowed.
1. Terminal burned: heavy load discharge phenomenon caused by unsecured contact of terminal lines or short-circuit of positive and negative poles or large current discharging. Phenomenon: terminal is melted.
2£®Charging with opposite electrode poles: wrong wires are connected during charging. Phenomenon: tested battery and the opposite voltage terminals of marked voltage or the busbar have opposite polarity color.
3. Overcharge: electrolytic solution dehydrates quickly or ever becomes dry up, with status display turns white. Phenomenon: battery housing deforms, emitted gas of the battery has peculiar smell, housing interior has obvious yellow color, and oar-shape cast is found at the bottom of the battery.
4. Damage caused by installation: loose installation causes large vibration, or too tight installation causes damage on battery housing. Phenomenon: obvious dent on the battery housing or wear due to vibration, which will lead to damage of battery housing or internal active substance falling off.
5. Housing frost cracking: the battery is insufficient of power, and the ratio of electrolytic solution decreases and freezes. Phenomenon: electrolytic solution freezes and the housing cracks.
6. Housing burns and leaks: short-circuit of the battery or caused by waterlog on the cover. Phenomenon: battery cell burns and leaks.
7. Artificially damage: the damage on the battery that is caused artificially.
8£®8. Sulfation: sulfation of the counter electrode caused by insufficient charge or over discharge, which will make the active substance lose activity. Phenomenon: during normal discharge, voltage decreases quickly and capacity is low; during charging, voltage increase quickly.
9. Battery explosion: sparks is produced due to unsecured connection of wires or open fire from outside caused explosion of the battery housing.
